The 2020 Easter Tornado Outbreak was a devastating and catastrophic tornado outbreak that affected the Southeastern United States on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. There were several tornadoes that went through major metropolitan areas, causing the initiation of multiple tornado emergencies. On April 12, 2020, a moderate risk for severe weather was issued, highlighting a 15% hatched area for tornadoes. There was also a 45% area for damaging winds. For hail, there was a 30% hatched area.
